Let's Fire A Council member

The refusal the past the post-911 medical is the latest way the Senate has proven they are not doing their jobs. Also the reports that the Senate will hold up on any further decisions until the Bush's tax cuts to the rich are approve sounds like blackmail to me. I thought blackmailing is a criminal act; however, since we can not send the Senate to jail then I think it is time to fire them.

To fire a council member, I think should be the same as any volunteer, whether they are elected or not, who refuse or do not have the ability to deliver quality service to the clients or broken the rules. For example, Council members are fired from their regular job when they do something wrong (eg. Council member Turner), why can't they also lose their seat.

If you agree, please add your name; the name of the Council member and the reason they should be fired. Add this posting and your reason on twitters, Facebook, MySpace and Youtube. We can use this to state a petition and send it to Washington, DC; as follow:

I, ______________________, would like to recommend the immediate termination of Council member because _________________________________ for his/her inability to perform their jobs in the best interest of the people the State of New York.

I, ______________________, certify that this statement is true.

Sincerely,

_______________________________

  1. The first Council member to be considered is Republican Susan Collins; who promised she will sign the bill for the 9/11 Health Bill but voted no to block the act until the Tax Cut bill was approved. Sound like wrong doing to me.
